At a loss...

What do you do when you know your tax dollars paid for the bomb that just dropped in a foreign land and wiped out an innocent child's family?

One can live a life of peace and inclusion, vote for politicians aligned with one's values, protest, donate cash whenever one can, volunteer their person if the stars align... but all of these methods don't restore that child's innocence and sense of security. Now that child is traumatized and living in a war zone. Now that child's pain is our pain, and we are too far away to hold them, feed them, and tuck them in at night.

What now? How do we, as average people, stop this from happening beyond what I mentioned? Or is that it? Is that all we can do? I'm all ears and ready to roll.
