I was wondering how our neighbor was going to get all the delicious peaches from the top of his tree, and the next thing you know, one of the branches was so heavy with fruit that it snapped right off and collapsed into our yard. Hundreds of peaches to consume now. The taste and fragrance are amazing.
My other neighbor saw it happen. I was giving him a grocery bag of peaches from our haul, and he told me that you have to tie the branches together for support, or the fruit will eventually take the whole tree down.
